First Marine Service Co., Ltd. was established in 1965 as the in-house ship management company of Daiichi Chuo Kisen Kaisha, and has been engaged in ship management for many years.
Since 1997, based on the marine technical capabilities we have cultivated so far, we have expanded our services towards third party shipowners and have been striving to be a trustworthy ship management company, overcoming numerous challenges under our motto of ‘Hands-On Approach, safe, reliable, and prompt growing together with our customers.’

In addition to ship management, we are actively enhancing and diversifying our services including dispatching supervisors for new shipbuilding construction, cargo operation safety supervision, procurement of ship equipment, spare parts, supplies, and lubricants.
Ship management is one of the key pillars supporting the maritime industry, which is indispensable for international logistics. We take pride in contributing to society and protecting the global environment through our role in the maritime industry.
First Marine Service Co., Ltd. operates in accordance with policies and procedures stipulated by our QSMS(Quality Safety Management System) and will continue to mobilize the full strength of the company to achieve further growth together with our customers.

Established Daiichi Chuo Hakuyo Sobi Co., Ltd. in Osaka as a subsidiary of Daiichi Chuo Kisen Kaisha, also commenced sales and processing of ship's equipment and stores. 
Jun. 1975
Renamed as First Marine Service Co., Ltd., having head office move to Tokyo, and commenced total general ship management services. 
Dec. 1987
Increased capital to 150 million yen.
